On Monday, March 30, 2026, the Schwab Learning Quest 529 Education Savings Program ("Schwab Learning Quest 529") merged into the Schwab 529 Education Savings Plan ("Schwab 529 Plan"). Schwab Learning Quest 529 accounts and assets automatically transitioned to the Schwab 529 Plan and the new plan manager, TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc. (TFI), a subsidiary of financial services leader TIAA.

For online access, maintenance requests, and transactions, you will receive a new Schwab 529 account number. Existing Schwab brokerage clients can sign in at Schwab.com; all others should visit schwab529plan.com/login.
